W.B. Williamson, the brother of G.H. Williamson helped to develop the family business manufacturing tinplate goods. He served in the 1st Worcester Warwick Artillery Volunteers as a gunner until 1866 when he left for America, returning in 1881 as a Lieutenant.

He was promoted to Captain in 1884 and resigned in 1891. He served on the City Council from 1877, became Sheriff in 1882, and Mayor in 1883. W.B. Williamson died in 1895. John Cooke was a London-based painter of portraits and figure subjects. He exhibited at the Royal Academy.
