Join us at the Guildhall in Worcester for Restart a Heart Day, a nationwide initiative led by Resuscitation Council UK (RCUK) to empower the public with lifesaving CPR skills.

What’s Happening?

Drop in anytime between 09:30 and 15:00 to learn CPR in just 15 minutes.

You’ll be trained by expert resuscitation officers and healthcare professionals from the Herefordshire and Worcestershire Health and Care NHS Trust. No experience needed — just a willingness to learn how to save a life.

Why Restart a Heart Day Matters

Every year in the UK, over 30,000 cardiac arrests occur outside of hospitals. Tragically, fewer than 1 in 10 people survive. But early CPR and defibrillation can more than double the chances of survival.

Restart a Heart Day, held annually on 16 October, raises awareness of cardiac arrest and teaches people how to act quickly and confidently in an emergency. Whether you’re at home, work, or out in the community, knowing CPR could mean the difference between life and death.
